I would love to have a Quattro, and the price seems so inviting... but who knows what the problem is or how much it will cost to solve it. Oh, and I need an extra $850 just to purchase it.

Posting is gone. What was it and what was the problem?

I just watched like 3 episodes of MCM so I’m confident in my ability to diagnose and fix any automotive issue.

It’s weird that the photo stills shows up for me.

It was a 2003 A4 1.8t Quattro which had mysteriously died on him while driving, and he had replaced the starter and battery so he was stumped. His next guess was the alternator.

It had 170,000 miles on it. And I figured it could be quite a few other things possibly.
